To improve oral health awareness and dental hygiene of the masses, Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan Dental Association and leading dental institutions of Karachi , Lahore , Islamabad , Rawalpindi and Hyderabad organized “Colgate Dental Health Month” on the month of September 2005. Free dental checkups were arranged in Karachi from September 5th to September 9th at Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine, Fatima Jinnah Dental College , O.T. Hospital , Jinnah Medical & Dental College and Hamdard College of Medicine & Dentistry.

Following Karachi , Lahore free dental checkups commenced from 12th September to 16th September at Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences, University of Lahore (Dental Section), Institute of Public Health and Fatima Memorial Dental Hospital.

In Islamabad & Rawalpindi dental checkups were carried out from September 19th to September 23 rd at Islamic International Medical and Dental Hospital and Margalla College of Dentistry.

In Hyderabad Checkups were done from September 26th to September 30th at Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad (Civil Hospital) and Institute of Dentistry L. U. M. H. S, Jamshoroo.

In this program, approximately 100,000 people benefited from free dental checkups. Leading dental institutions and hospitals had extended their full support and cooperation for the cause. Free Colgate samples and oral health education material was distributed to both children and adults. Colgate along with dental association struggled together for better oral health by providing free dental checkups and education to consumers.
